Wadih Jirjas Elias
Wadih Jirjas Elias (al-Bishkar), 80, of Zwaitineh, Syria passed away on January 4, 2010. Born in Zwaitineh, he was the son of the late Jirjas and Halloun. He worked for the City of Allentown Parks and Recreation before retiring having previously worked at Fairtex Mills
He lived prior to his return to Syria, in Beirut, Dubai and Allentown
Survivors: Wife, Seham at home; Sons, Eid Elias of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, Issam Elias of Allentown, South Whitehall Township, Adnan Elias of Marietta, Georgia, Imad Elias of Dubai and Atef Elias of Abu Dhabi, UAE
He was proud of and devoted to his seventeen grandchildren, Nikki, Laith, Mazin, Jinaan, Shaadi, Hady, Dany, Jad, Alex, Zaina, Alia, Lara, Nadine, Leila, Sophia, Anna and Mimi, and three great-grandchildren
He is also survived by his sister, Badiah of Zwaitineh. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Zakieh and by his brothers and sister, Mikhail, Aziz, Issa, and Farida. In Zwaitineh, Syria
Services
A Ninth-Day Memorial service will be held on January 17, 2010 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Avenue. Church services begin
Those who wish to pay their condolences are welcome to attend the services. A coffee hour will followat 10 a.m

Our heartfelt deepest sympathies to you all on the loss of a wonderful father and friend who made an impact on all who knew him. He loved his family and was proud of his progeny.
