«الأزمة» تزيد الضغوط الإعلانيّة على الصحافيّين العرب
أدّى الانهيار الحاد في إيرادات الإعلانات، الذي نتج من الأزمة الاقتصاديّة الماليّة، إلى إغلاق مؤسسات إعلامية وتسريح عشرات الإعلاميّين وتجميد التعيينات الجديدة. واقع نتج منه تنامي شعور الصحافيين والإعلاميين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط بضغوط متزايدة، وفقاً لدراسة إحصائيّة أعدّتها «ميديا سورس» و«انسايت ميدل ايست».


الاستطلاع شمل 219 صحافياً وإعلامياً يعملون في وسائل إعلام عربية وإنكليزيّة في 13 دولة عربيّة، وأبرَزَ العوائق الماديّة التي تعوق عمل الصحافيّين.
وأجمع الصحافيون الذين استُطلعت آراؤهم على أنّ «التشريعات والقوانين الحكومية» هي المعوّق الأكبر أمام إعداد القصص والتقارير الإخبارية، فاحتل هذا العامل المرتبة الأولى بعدما كان ثانياً قبل عامين.
واللافت هو أنّ الصحافيّين باتوا يشعرون بضغوط متزايدة من المعلنين على المحتوى التحريري، مقارنةً بما كانت عليه الأوضاع عام 2007، فيما الأثر الأكبر للأزمة المالية العالمية كان في انهيار كبير في الإيرادات من وراء الإعلانات.

واختلطت مشاعر الصحافيين في وسائل الإعلام التقليدية في أثر «الصحافة المجتمعية» مثل المدونات، والمنتديات الإلكترونية. فقد رأى 62 في المئة من الصحافيين في وسائل الإعلام العربية و74 في المئة في الإنكليزية أن الصحافة المجتمعية تعدّ مصدراً إخبارياً «محايداً» أو «ضعيفاً». ومع هذا هم يشعرون بأنها تؤدّي دوراً مهما وكبيراً في إشراك الجمهور وتفاعله.
وتشير الدراسة إلى أنّ بعض المؤسسات الإعلامية في المنطقة تسخّر وسائل «الصحافة المجتمعية» لتفعيل المشاركة والتفاعل مع الجمهور، ولكن 55 في المئة من أصحاب المؤسّسات «العربيّة» و37 في المئة من «الإنكليزيّة» يرون أنّ مؤسساتهم لم تلجأ إليها بعد، إلا أنها تشعر بأهمية ذلك.
وبشأن تقويم الصحافيين لمهنتهم، قال 47 في المئة من المستطلَعين إن مستوى الصحافة عموماً بين «جيّد» إلى «جيّد إلى حدّ ما». وتشعر غالبية في وسائل الإعلام التي تصدر باللغة الإنكليزية (63 في المئة) بأن هناك تحسناً في مستوى الصحافة في المنطقة (انخفاض مقارنةً بـ80 في المئة في 2007)، غير أنّ 44 في المئة فقط من العاملين في وسائل الإعلام باللغة العربية يرون الأمر ذاته، فيما يشعر 28 في المئة بأن مستوى مهنة الصحافة «مستقر» فيما نسبة مماثلة ترى أنها في تراجع.
